Lady Arhrms Pheasant:

The species originates from Southwestern China and far from Northern Myanmar, but has been introduced to England and comes from there.

The adult male is 100-120 cm in length and its tail accounts to about 80 cms. They have a spectacular nuchal cape white black and a red crest. The long tail and rump is red, blue, dark green and white with yellow plumage. The cape can be raised in display and is very visually pleasing.

The females on the other hand are less flamboyant. They have a much duller brown plumage all over. She is very similar to a golden pheasant.

Their diet mainly includes leaves, grains and invertebrates. They roost in trees at night. Even though they can fly, these
